Kite Spot Nishihama
Wide, uncrowded west-coast beach on Miyakojima, rideable in SW to N wind and rated one of Japan's best flat-water spots — endless shallow glassy flats at low tide, no beach left at high tide; main season mid-Oct to early March with the Miinishi monsoon.
